In 2024, MealMatch AI’s founder and CEO, Tykeria Berry, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Leukemia. During her treatment, she made a powerful commitment: to not only fight for her life, but to support her healing journey through food. But as she searched for solutions, she realized a heartbreaking gap — there were no platforms that helped people understand what to eat based on their specific health conditions, especially while navigating tight budgets.

At the same time, Tykeria reflected on her upbringing in Miami, where inflation, food insecurity, and a lack of nutrition guidance left many families overwhelmed and underserved. Her personal fight evolved into a broader mission: to make healing, healthy meals accessible to everyone.

That mission became MealMatch AI — an AI-powered, all-in-one platform that personalizes meals based on your health conditions, preferences, and grocery budget. It tracks your pantry, helps you manage your grocery spending, and gives you access to over 50,000 recipes and counting — all designed to help you heal, thrive, and save.
